- Heat the neutral oil in a large skillet over medium to medium-high heat.
- Cook the tofu in a single layer, turning carefully, until golden and crispy on all sides.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, red pepper flakes, and water.
- Pour the sauce into the skillet and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce thickens and turns glossy.
- Return the crispy tofu to the pan and toss gently until every piece is coated.
- Serve over cooked white rice and finish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
