Description

This easy chicken salad recipe combines shredded chicken with creamy dressing and fresh ingredients, perfect for a quick meal or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sweet pickles or relish (optional)
  • 1/4 cup grapes, halved (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook and shred the chicken breast. Rotisserie chicken also works well.
  2. In a large bowl, mix mayonnaise, mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Stir in chopped celery and onion.
  4. Add the cooked chicken to the bowl and gently mix until everything is coated.
  5. Add grapes, pickles, or apples if you like.
  6. Refrigerate for about 20 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • You can use Greek yogurt and mayo together for a lighter version.
  • Try avocado mayo for a creamy twist.
