Cornmeal Bundt Cake

Description

A delicious cornmeal bundt cake cooked in an air fryer for a unique twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, melted
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 oz diced chiles (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a bowl mix dry ingredients.
  2. In another bowl add melted butter and remaining wet ingredients, stir both.
  3. Add wet ingredients into dry bowl and stir until combined.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 330 degrees F for 5 minutes.
  5. Spray 7″ bundt pan with non stick spray and pour batter inside leaving 1″ space left at the top, there will be a bit of batter left over.
  6. Cover pan loosely with foil and put into air fryer basket.
  7. Cook at 330 degrees covered for 35 minutes. Then remove foil and increase temperature to 350 F and cook for another 9 minutes.
  8. Remove pan, put plate on top, carefully flip over, slice and serve.

Notes

  • This recipe can be modified by adding different types of chiles or spices to give it a unique flavor.
