Air Fryer Chicken Thighs with Lemon Drizzle

Description

Delicious air fryer chicken thighs drizzled with a zesty lemon olive oil sauce.


Ingredients

  • 6 boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 11/2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 11/2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 11/2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 11/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/3 cup olive oil
  • Juice of 2 small lemons
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels to eliminate some of the moisture on the thighs.
  3. Transfer the chicken thighs to a large bowl. Pour the 2 tablespoons of olive oil and the seasoning over the chicken thighs. Using your hands, toss the thighs in the oil and seasoning so they are evenly coated.
  4. Place the chicken thighs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, spaced apart a bit. Put the air fryer basket in the air fryer and cook for 7-10 minutes (depending on how big your thighs are).
  5. Remove the basket, and using tongs, flip the chicken thighs and place them back in the air fryer.
  6. Air fry for another 5-10 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F to 180°F on a digital meat thermometer.
  7. While the chicken is cooking, add the ingredients for the lemon olive oil drizzle to a mason jar, seal the lid, and shake well.
  8. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter. Drizzle the seasoned lemon juice and olive oil over the chicken and garnish with finely chopped parsley if desired.
