Turkey and Brie Sandwich

Description

A delicious turkey and brie sandwich topped with cranberry salsa and fresh arugula, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 slices crusty bread
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 4 ounces sliced turkey
  • 3 ounces brie cheese, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons cranberry salsa
  • 1/2 cup fresh arugula or fresh spinach

Instructions

  1. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice on a cutting board, buttered side down. Layer the brie, cranberry salsa, turkey, and greens on top.
  3. Cover with the second slice, buttered side up.
  4. Warm a sandwich press or skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich for 3–5 minutes, or until the outside is crisp and the cheese has melted. If using a skillet, flip halfway through and press lightly with a spatula.
  5. Slice and serve right away while the sandwich is warm and melty.

  • This sandwich is great for lunch or a light dinner.
