- 1 box chocolate or vanilla cupcake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (canola recommended)
- 1 cup water or milk
- 2 cups buttercream frosting
- Green food coloring (to tint frosting)
- 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
- 1/2 cup white chocolate melts (for piping)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with festive liners.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cupcake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water/milk. Mix until smooth.
- Pour batter into liners until two-thirds full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until springy.
- Cool cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
- Beat buttercream frosting until fluffy; add green food coloring until desired shade is reached.
- Pipe green frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
- Melt white chocolate melts and pipe laces on top of each cupcake.
Notes
- For best results, let the cupcakes cool completely before piping frosting.
- You can use store-bought frosting or make your own from scratch.
