Description

Delicious chocolate or vanilla cupcakes topped with fluffy green buttercream frosting and festive decorations.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box chocolate or vanilla cupcake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (canola recommended)
  • 1 cup water or milk
  • 2 cups buttercream frosting
  • Green food coloring (to tint frosting)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate sprinkles
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate melts (for piping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with festive liners.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine cupcake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, and water/milk. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into liners until two-thirds full. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until springy.
  4. Cool cupcakes in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire racks.
  5. Beat buttercream frosting until fluffy; add green food coloring until desired shade is reached.
  6. Pipe green frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
  7. Melt white chocolate melts and pipe laces on top of each cupcake.
