Delicious homemade chocolate chip cookies that are soft, chewy, and loaded with chocolate chips.

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time, until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until edges are golden brown.
- Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For chewier cookies, chill the dough for at least 30 minutes before baking.
- Store cookies in an airtight container to keep them fresh.
