Description

A refreshing and creamy smoothie bowl made with frozen pitaya, banana, and pineapple, topped with fresh fruits and nuts.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 packet frozen pitaya (dragon fruit)
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen pineapple or mango
  • 1/4 cup coconut water or almond milk
  • 1/2 fresh kiwi, sliced (topping)
  • 1/2 banana, sliced (topping)
  • 2 tablespoons raw almonds (topping)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes (topping)

Instructions

  1. Make sure all your fruit is frozen. Pre-slice banana, pitaya, and pineapple if needed and freeze overnight.
  2. Add frozen pitaya, banana, and pineapple to a high-speed blender. Add coconut water or almond milk.
  3. Blend until thick, smooth, and creamy. Scrape the sides as needed.
  4. Adjust the consistency by adding more liquid one tablespoon at a time, only if necessary.
  5. Scoop into a bowl and smooth the top.
  6. Add toppings: sliced kiwi, banana, almonds, and coconut flakes.
  7. Serve immediately and enjoy with a spoon.
