Delicious homemade chocolate peppermint patties that are perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 tsp pure peppermint extract
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, cocoa powder, sweetened condensed milk, softened butter, and peppermint extract. Mix until smooth.
- Scoop out one tablespoon of the mixture and roll into balls; flatten each ball into disks about 1/4 inch thick on parchment paper.
- Chill the disks in the freezer for approximately 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, melt dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals until smooth.
- Dip each chilled patty into the melted chocolate using two forks or a slotted spoon; allow excess chocolate to drip off before placing back on parchment paper.
- Let the coated patties sit at room temperature until chocolate hardens.
