Description

Delicious and easy peanut butter cookies made with just a few simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup (240g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, sugar, egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place on baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  4. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork, making a crisscross pattern.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden.
  6. Let cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
