Description

Deliciously sweet and crunchy cinnamon sugar pecans, perfect for snacking or topping desserts.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large egg white
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups unsalted pecan halves
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar (packed)
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 23 teaspoons ground cinnamon (depending on desired cinnamon flavor)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300F. Line a half sheet pan with a silicone baking mat or parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the egg white until frothy.
  3. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the pecans, and toss to coat in the egg white mixture.
  5. Add the sugars, salt, and cinnamon.
  6. Toss to combine.
  7. Spread the nuts into an even layer in the prepared pan.
  8. Bake until the pecans are crisp, about 25-30 minutes.
  9. Let cool to room temperature before serving.
