- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup peanut butter chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and peanut butter until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just incorporated.
- Fold in peanut butter chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- Ensure the butter is softened for easy mixing.
- For a more intense peanut butter flavor, add more peanut butter chips if desired.
