Description

A deliciously rich and creamy hot chocolate made in a crock pot.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 cups whole milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 0 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions

  1. Lightly grease the inside of the crock pot and set it to low heat.
  2. Pour in the whole milk and heavy cream.
  3. Add sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder.
  4. Whisk all ingredients together until well combined.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 2 hours, stirring every 30–45 minutes.
  6. Stir in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt once fully melted.
  7. Switch to “warm” setting for serving.
  8. Ladle into mugs and garnish with toppings as desired.

Notes

  • For an extra rich flavor, you can add a splash of coffee or espresso.
  • Top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or chocolate shavings for additional indulgence.
