Description

This creamy chicken and rice casserole is a comforting dish, packed with delicious flavors and a cheesy topping that will satisfy the whole family.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 can (10 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, cooked rice, and broccoli.
  3. Add cream of chicken soup, milk, melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
  4. Fold in half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top.
  7. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes, until bubbly and lightly golden.
  8. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
