Description

Delicious homemade bread made using a bread machine.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 tablespoons warm water (about 105F)
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 6 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons bread machine yeast

Instructions

  1. Add the ingredients in the order given by your bread machine’s instructions. This will usually be wet ingredients, then dry ingredients with the yeast in a small central well in the flour.
  2. Press the basic cycle and adjust the crust color to the lightest setting. If you don’t have a basic setting, you can use the white bread setting.
  3. Once the bread has finished baking, remove from the pan and let it cool before cutting and serving.

Notes

  • Ensure water is warm but not too hot to preserve the yeast’s effectiveness.
