Description
Delicious homemade bread made using a bread machine.
Ingredients
Scale
- 6 tablespoons warm water (about 105F)
- ¾ cup milk
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons neutral oil
- 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 6 tablespoons old-fashioned oats
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 ¼ teaspoons bread machine yeast
Instructions
- Add the ingredients in the order given by your bread machine’s instructions. This will usually be wet ingredients, then dry ingredients with the yeast in a small central well in the flour.
- Press the basic cycle and adjust the crust color to the lightest setting. If you don’t have a basic setting, you can use the white bread setting.
- Once the bread has finished baking, remove from the pan and let it cool before cutting and serving.
Notes
- Ensure water is warm but not too hot to preserve the yeast’s effectiveness.
- This bread pairs well with butter or jam.
