Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (for egg wash)
  • 4 cups cornflakes, crushed

  • 2 teaspoons seasoning mix (salt, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne)

  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce (for glaze)
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 0 cups light brown sugar (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
  3. In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the hot sauce.
  4. Dip each piece of chicken into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and then coat with crushed cornflakes.
  5. Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray if desired.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix in hot sauce and honey for the glaze.
  8. Drizzle the glaze over the chicken just before serving.
