- 4 pieces chicken (breasts or thighs)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 0 cups light brown sugar (for breading)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (for egg wash)
- 4 cups cornflakes, crushed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 2 teaspoons seasoning mix (salt, chili powder, black pepper, cayenne)

- 2 tablespoons hot sauce (for glaze)
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 0 cups light brown sugar (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken with salt and black pepper.
- In one bowl, place the flour. In another bowl, beat the eggs with the hot sauce.
- Dip each piece of chicken into the flour, then into the egg mixture, and then coat with crushed cornflakes.
- Place the coated chicken on a baking sheet and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter and mix in hot sauce and honey for the glaze.
- Drizzle the glaze over the chicken just before serving.
Notes
- For extra crunch, use panko breadcrumbs along with cornflakes.
- Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes after baking before serving.
